My old Placement Director at Brown College has finally retired! After over four decades of helping students become broadcasters, Mike Kronforst sent this message earlier today on his Facebook page: “After working at Brown Institute, Brown College and Sanford Brown College for 41.5 years, I retired officially on May 6th.”
There will be an informal gathering at Brown College to congratulate Mike and celebrate his achievements. It will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 11:00AM-1:00PM. If you’re an old Brownie like me who attended classes on Lake Street in Minneapolis, the current location is 1345 Mendota Heights Drive in Mendota Heights. Those of you who are in the Twin Cities area, please stop by tomorrow and say ‘hi.’ If you can’t make it in person, please stop by Mike’s Facebook page and wish him a happy retirement.
