KCPI-FM 95.3 Albert Lea MN Linda Brekke 1988

Despite being only 3,000 watts, Albert Lea’s Magic 95 was a decent small market CHR.  They were live, local, and as current on music as the larger stations.  KCPI was fairly easy for me to receive after the local religious station on 95.3 (KNOF) signed off at 10PM. Linda Brekke is heard first. I’m not sure who is giving the weather forecast. Do you know?

Reception of this aircheck was made from Apple Valley, Minnesota, using a Pioneer SX-3900 receiver, Winegard 10 element FM yagi, Alliance U-100 Tenna Rotor, and Belden RG59 ultra low loss coaxial cable.  Recording duties were handled by a Sears cassette deck and BASF 60 normal bias tape.
