KNWC-FM was and still is the 100,000 watt voice of Northwestern College in Sioux Falls! Even though this station was included earlier on my Sioux Falls Dial Scan aircheck composite, I felt it deserved an individual page. From an antenna mounted high on the KELO-TV tower, KNWC enjoyed a huge signal that reached 3 states. Reception from my location in Apple Valley, Minnesota was fairly easy with just a bit of white noise on the signal.
Equipment used was a Pioneer SX-3900 receiver, Winegard 10 element FM directional yagi antenna, Belden ultra low loss RG59 coaxial cable, Alliance antenna rotor, Technics stereo cassette deck, and Scotch Dynarange 90 tape.
