This was the national radio commercial which promoted KISS’ new “Double Platinum” album in the spring and summer of 1978. It includes the voice of Neil Bogart, founder and president of Casablanca Records. Neil was monumental in the success of KISS. Sadly, he died at the age of 39, less than 4 years after this commercial aired. There was also a video version of this spot which aired on local and network television.
This was received from my residence in Apple Valley, Minnesota. A Sears AM/FM/cassette monaural unit and Realistic Concertape C-60 cassette were used to make the recording.
