Here’s a look back at overnights on WAVC FM 105 in the summer of 1988. Complete with a spot for Doherty’s and a chance to win lunch for 2 at the Bellows!
I captured this from Apple Valley, Minnesota, using a Pioneer SX-3900 receiver, Winegard 10 element FM yagi antenna, Alliance U-100 Tenna Rotor, and Belden RG59 ultra low loss coaxial cable. It’s important to note that WTCX-FM 105.1 in Lakeville would not sign on for another 4 years. Today, reception would not be possible from this location. The recording was made to a Sears stereo cassette deck with BASF 60 minute normal bias tape.
